Our lives are made up of thousand upon thousands of moments, some we’d rather forget, others we could relive over and over again.

This post is filled with moments such as those, thirteen moments that marked my year as one I’ll not soon forget.

I’m so thankful for God’s faithfulness throughout each moment these few represent.

And so in no particular order:

Watching Liam score his first soccer goal.

Receiving Taye’s certificate of US citizenship in the mail.

Getting that email from Children’s Ministry Magazine.

Watching our first family movie in our newly renovated lower level.

Dinner with our new small group at Zeitin’s.

Hearing Elli’s stories from her first day of kindergarten.

Making Kenyan food with Isika on Thanksgiving.

Spending a fun evening with Jenna finally finishing our wedding album (11 years later!)

Hunting for the perfect sea shell on the Jersey Shore with Addison.

Being on the receiving end of an unsolicited “I love you” from Taye.

Very Honorable Mentions:

Stepping onto the Camp Kid Jam stage for the first time.

That phone call.

Enjoying the Bonefish Grill with Jenna and that great conversation.
